Electric z4?

I’d happily have an electric Zed to use as daily driver in a city like London. The handling is largely irrelevant (so long as it’s comfortable) and the fact that it doesn’t pollute locally would enable it to be used without paying the cynical taxes…I mean falling foul of city centre clean air legislation.

That said, I would have it in addition to, not instead of my collection of noisy, smelly, out-dated pollution generators.

Yes because making the batteries is 100% environmentally friendly, causes zero pollution and when the batteries are past their best they're safe to dispose.

Moving from oil to electric isn't going to make one bit if difference no matter what the media feed you.

Hence saying “… the fact that it doesn’t pollute locally would enable it to be used without paying the cynical taxes…”.

The drive to change from fossil fuels to electricity is largely political but it’s happening with or without your consent.

Yes it's political. Just because the pollution is elsewhere doesn't akebtgem environmentally friendly.

Don't think for a minute that the taxes won't rise especially if the English keep voting in the Tory organised crime syndicate.

Think you will find that the alternatives, Labour, Liberal & Greens are even MORE into environmental taxes.

Still, you won't have to worry about high taxes and pollution when Nichola becomes Queen of Scotland :poke:

I think Electric causes range anxiety now - but wait a few years and if we still have petrol / diesel cars we won't leave home without a full 20l jerry can of juice!

Not worrying about this at all, thinking about moving to a Z4M so have my future ‘refuelling team’ sorted out already
