Electric windows not working HELP!!!!!

The electric windows have stopped working on my mates Z4 roadster. You can still hear the motor working but the windows don't go down at all. Has anyone got any suggestions????

Yes it's both windows now, although it was just the drivers side that originally failed. If you press the button to wind the windows down you just hear the motor going round but no movement of the glass. The interior trim panel says "airbag" on it but is it possible to remove the panel without any problems? If so, how do you do it??

where is a good write up somewhere on the forum How To but cant find it now.
Try doing a search.

Its an easy procedure anyway.
U have to remove the 3 torx screws, one behind the aribag sign, one behind the latch for opening the door, and one is behind the door handle. To access the last one you have to remove th top trim. It just slides out.

To remove the door card just pull. Its held by a number of clips.

Do a search and u can find better description with pics also.
