Electric rooftop problem

Hi everyone, I write here from Italy, sorry for my poor English. I’’ve buyed in 2004 a 2.2 e85 z4.

The rooftop of my car stop working a week ago.

If I unlock manually it works. But wen i try to close pressing closing button, rooftop stop when arrives at the front windscreen and the locking front motor dont start. But this motor works good in full opening.

I think both motors are ok.

I’ve read many of this forum discussions, probably some stupid easy electric issue is the problem.

Maybe old battery ( I’m waiting for a new one next days), or hall sensor.

I’ve scanned the rooftop ecu with INPA, I send you the screenshot, someone experienced about/software code error can give me some opinion?

P.s. during lockdown I’ve left the battery unplugged for more than two months. Maybe ecu rooftop module lost some code.

But when I take the car tho months ago, everything work well till one week ago.

I’ve read one user solved similar issue simply cleaning with wd40 rooftop/windscreen hall sensor cable connection. I think this is my next step. (after a new battery)
