Hi,

I have an issue with my roof, the motor has been located to the boot prior to me purchasing.

When i operate the roof, it wont move and just flashes red however if i operate the window switches constantly the roof will operate as normal and lock in the down position then the same when i need to get it back up again.

I reset the micro switch in the boot so i know its not that but does anyone else have any ideas?

Cheers

Before moving the hood switch reset the windows by holding the window button down for the full length of the windows travel hold it in the fully down position for a few seconds then raise the window to fully up holding the button in the up position for a further few seconds. That should have reset the auto function of the windows. Once thats done try the roof down button and see if the windows do their partial drop before the hood starts its down cycle. Same will go for the up cycle regarding the partial window drop. Once the hood is fully up or down the windows should return to fully up. If resetting the windows dosn't fix it it might be the module at fault but standby for Number5 on here to chip in he has far more experience with roof problems than me.
