Hi guys,
I recently needed to replace my roof motor after it died due to water ingress (massive thanks to this forum for the guides that was offered, really made the job easier and saved me a fortune).
To cut a long story short, I've managed to replace the motor. However, the first time I tested it I'd managed to get the hydraulic hoses around the wrong way (due to a discrepancy between the old motor number stamps and the new), so it worked, but went in the opposite direction to the button you pressed! :?
We took everything out, switched the hoses around and got everything back in place. However, this time the whole process is unresponsive; the top wont disengage from the window latches when it's up and if I manually put it down, the motor doesn't respond to put it up. I'm sure I've either knocked a switch out or a sensor it's quite right so I'm after a bit of advice on where all the sensors are located and maybe a check list of electric connections for me to go over when I try again this weekend.
I've made sure the floating shelf in the boot is in the lower position and that sensor is triggered. I've also made sure the bowden cable is engaged.
Thanks in advance,
Nick.
