Electric folding mirrors

I just had my wheels refurbed, the other night in the dark i adjusted my mirrors so i could see the curb and pressed the wrong button and all of a sudden my wing mirrors folded in.
I had no idea i had electric folding mirrors, so that was a nice surprise!

So i have had a little search on the forum and i cannot find a definitive answer.

Can these be programmed to work off the key? as in fold in when locked and out when unlocked/ignition starts...

Still waiting for that one to come along. Is already working on the X5 but not on the Z.

There is a standard option on the Zed.

Cars so equiped have an extra button on the drivers door switch to fold them in.

I think he's looking for an option to auto-fold when you lock and unfold when you unlock....

I too would love a (cheap) option to be able to auto fold the mirros upon locking and opening the doors... Alas i may need to wait for this miracle intravee firmware update!
