Electric folding mirror problem

Hi guys

My z4 has the electric folding mirrors. However, the passenger mirror is starting to play up.

Both mirrors fold up correctly, but when folding back down, the passenger mirror will sometimes stay in the same position as if it's jammed. This only seems to happen when I return to the car after a short period of time. Otherwise, the mirrors fold up and down perfectly.

It means I have to get out of the car and manually fold down the mirror, which isn't doing my street cred any favours!

Has anyone had a similar problem? Any advice would be great.

I did try searching but couldn't find a solution. The car is booked into the indy later this week to have its CDV removed, so I'll get them to have a look at this then and report back their findings.
