I had the race on my 328i no issues with noise and this was afew years ago. I knew of afew E46 M3s with the race which sounded great.

Sport version is ok but not as "fruity" as the race. It will be fine.

My old Hayward and Scott was louder but that was on an M Coupe :driving:

Cheers for the tip. Decision made.... race it is

Nice one :)

Speak to Teddy at SSDD-Motorsport might get you a good deal

That. Looks. Stunning!

6 cylinders into 'quads' has always seemed a bit odd.

6 into 1, yes. Into 2, yes. Even into 3.

But into 4? Arithmetically and mechanically, no. :?

I chose the Sport version. For my 30i, the race just seemed like it was going to be too noisy all the time and i was concerned about droning at steady highway speeds. The Sport is a nice step up from stock without sounding too over the top. The stainless steel tips are a nice size and look better than stock.
