Eisenmann quad or other?

Hi guys, really want a quad for my baby, been looking at the eisenmann but it costs alot! I do love the sound but does it give any power gains/weight saving? :scratchhead: I'm also looking at mstyles quad with bumper conversion which is half the price & Means I would not need an //m bumper saving £700 more  I don't want some booming crap though so any advice would help :driving:

Thanks ranski have had a good read, all you guys who have had their bumper cut are you happy with the look? Can anyone who had the original side cut to match post some pics up close? The reason I was thinking of the mstyle is it comes with a difuser,at £620 all in it does look tempting! Would love to see any pics of anyone who has had this done

Be very, very careful with MStyle. I was badly stung by them, as have others on the forum... Not adhering to their advertised prices being a common issue. Do a forum search for MStyle and you'll see... :(

From my experience long life can be a hit a miss depending on the quality of the individual garage.

I have seen some shocking longlife installs... And likewise some very good ones... So worth either getting either an off the shelf setup, eisenmenn or remus; or a garage that someone can votch for.

You could always spend time and doing the bumper cut perfectly yourself.... Using the other side as a template, removing the bumper takes 10 minutes.

I've had two quad conversions for my sins / first one being with longlife

They will just use off the shelf mufflers / silencers which are too small and will cause drone

The second was a specialist exhaust garage in leicestershire where they fabricated a custom muffler. Infact three other forum members have used the same place

Bumper - I would go the M bumper if you can source one, however the stand bumper will do fine

If you've got the funds then surely an Eisenmann is hard to beat? I've heard PawnSacrifice's exhaust in person and videos don't do it justice: perfect level of noise for me without being too intrusive.

Does he have the race or sport? I'm thinking race judging from utube vids.trouble is £1500 for an exhaust then about £700 for the bumper is alot to justify! Still I do love my car so I can see where this is heading :crazydude:

I got mine done at Longlife Carshalton (Dan is the owner). See the pictures here http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28955

He only modified the right side of the bumper which looks identical to the left. Very pleased with the sound and results!
