Eibachs Springs + 12mm Hubcentric Spacers

So after discovering not 1, but 2 broken rear springs I have just replaced them with some Eibachs Pro lowering springs and added 12mm hubcentric spacers all round to finish the look. I have got to say, I am enjoying the how it sits with my recently added smokey grey 224's.

Too early to say much about the ride, but its better than it was on 2 broken springs. In an ideal world would have gone for the B12 kit, but a full house renovation meant this all came at the wrong time for me.

Cut the bumpers back? What parts did you need to cut and am I likely to get rubbing with this setup, not noticed anything so far. The car is a M Coupe, so not sure if that makes any spacing difference.

Rubber bump stops on the shocks not actual bumper sorry. No rubbing at all.

Now I cant honestly say that the rubber bump stocks were cut back. Have a missed a trick here?

I'm intrigued also. I recently installed the b12 kit and put on new bump stops for the rear shocks.
Should they be cut down?

Eibach pros sit about 15mm lower so the bump stops need cutting back otherwise the shocks will hit the bump stop before the spring has chance to do its job fully.

Useful to know, but it's the first I heard about it.
I know the fronts have in built bump stops, but didn't think the rears did, so i got brand new ones.
Don't really fancy taking it all apart again though.

Yep fronts only

Thanks for the info, looks like there is a little more work to do on my car as I didn't get the front bump stops cut back :headbang:
