Eibach springs

Hello fellow members!

I have a set of Eibach springs and I was planning to put them on my car.
So the question is: Does the lowering springs work fine on a 2007 3.0 Si Roadster with 18" OEM M-wheels and -tyres or is there any problems? As we all know, the tyre size on ///M's are different and I like it, so I don't want to put lower tyres. I see people use them on 19" wheels and I've read many discussions about the Eibach springs but didn't find the straight answer.

Thanks :)

From what I understand, you'll be absolutely fine. I know there are many ///Ms who have Eibachs and 19" wheels. don't forget the before and after pics.

I have a 2007 3.0i roadster with eibach springs and koni shocks. Also recently added 19 inch wheels and everything has worked out great, no issues at all.

Eibachs are allegedly better at soaking up smaller bumps and have better ride quality as the springs are progressively wound.

They give the car a great look too

Thanks for the comments!

I'll do it next weekend so let's see how it works. Pictures coming before/after.

Hi Dice, I have to arrange collection of my Eibachs, can you let me have a rough size/weight of the box please?

Cheers

Hi Darren,

no idea, not even a clue :) . My friend bought them to me 2 years ago and I totally forgot them. He reminded me last week and I just looked quickly. Didn't even touch them :D . i'll see them next time when fitting so sorry, can't help :( .

Hi Darren,

The box should fit in the boot, its large but should be fine, I think it weighs about 15-20kg.

Hope that helps.

Definitely fits in the boot as I had some in mine. When I sent some old OEM springs to another member on here I paid Parcel Force about £28 for next day / 24 hr delivery. Can't remember how much they weighed though...

I just posted a set of Eibach Prolines that i took off my Audi. The box was approximately 14cm x 32cm x 60cm and weighed 10kg. It fitted in the boot of my Z no problem. I only paid £9.99 for insured next day delivery with CityLink couriers booked through P4D.co.uk.

I'd imagine this is a good guide for the Z4 springs as Eibach use the same box for all.

Thanks to Mowflow!!

TNT wanted over £40 so used P4D as suggested, very easy and they will be delivered for under £10!

Top fella
