Eibach Springs

Hi Guys,

Changed my tyres today from RFTs to Falken 452s (felt sooo good!!) then went to get a full alignment only to be told I have a broken rear driver side spring and they wouldn't do it until it was fixed :(

Looked through a few old posts here and it looks as though Eibach springs are the preferred option to BMW springs, wasn't quite sure though if it would mean my Zed would be lowered by 15mm or 30mm.
I have a 53 plate 3.0i with 18" 102s and think I understand it would mean it would go down by 15mm extra as it's already gone down by 15mm by being a 3.0....I think, if someone cold help clarify that would be great as I don't want to lower it too much!! Has anybody done this on a similar model...does the lowering look good or is it too much?

Is the eibach official site the best place to get them or is there a better place to order from like Deamon Tweaks:

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Performance/Suspension/Lowering_Springs/Eibach_ProKit_Lowering_Spring_Kit/337/0/70672/25120

Final question I promise......if I buy them will garages be happy to fit them?

Thanks Guys,

Eibach do indeed lower the 3.0i by an extra 15mm as it's already 15mm lower than standard.

They seem to be the favoured replacement.

Only downside is lowering risks more speed bump in kerb issues, a price that many will pay.

Full fgeor need after swapping to get he set up correct.

Thanks cj10jeeper, could I ask what fgeor means though

Thanks

Ha ha - sorry - meant to type full 'geo' as in geometry. Go get it set up on proper equipement such as Hunter to reset all the angles that the 15mm drop will have knocked out
