EIbach Spring conversion for 35i

I am thinking of swapping my road springs for the Eibach variety

I am aware they lover the car, I am on 19" wheels and I am wondering if anyone has experience of this conversion and do you get any scraping from speed bumps and the like??
Also has anyone done it at home, how difficult was it?

I have these on my 35i and had no problems with any rubbing at all. I now only get a very slight rubbing on the nearside rear as I swapped my wheels and added 10mm spacers, I've now bought some 5mm spacers to change them too which should sort it out.

I've recently fitted a B12 kit to our 20i which includes the Eibach springs. No issues what so ever, even when used in conjunction with 5% higher than standard tyre sidewalls. IIRC they only lower circa 10mm at the front and nothing over standard at the rear on 20i M Sport suspension. So front 25mm and rear 15mm over SE spec. Not too sure if its exactly the same measurements on the 35i, as the spring kit for the 35i/is is different to the one for the rest of the range.

Mine came from Amazon at a similar price and were legit.

I have just emailed Eibach to ask them, I have my doubts after reading the description on the amazon page, it reads as follows.

The advert says sold and dispatched by Amazon so that means it is Amazon who are the vendor and not a third party seller so yes it should be genuine. I can't see Amazon themselves selling fakes.

I called Eibach UK, I read the text to him and he said it sounded very suspicious as third party retailers use the tech description they print! When the springs arrive they should have a printed EIBACH logo with a specific number on them that Eibach can check.
Mine are ordered but going to take at least a week to arrive..

Misrepresenting capacities of a drive is quite different to selling a fake brand name product. Have they ever been caught selling fake branded goods? I would be surprised since that could land them in serious trouble considering it is a criminal offence. Amazon differs to eBay in that eBay only has third party sellers whereas Amazon also themselves sell goods that they buy direct from manufacturers.

Whats wrong with their site, works fine here!
They said that other third party sellers advertise on Amazon as I mentioned previously. The worry about that particular link was the 'chinese type english' used in the technical description. This is because third party sellers take their technical description from the manufacturer, they dont make it up like the one in the amazon link.
I got mine for £105 (found a voucher code) with free delivery from a german reseller of Eibach/Bilstein going to take at least a week to arrive though and then I will be sending the numbers for verification before fitting them.

I am not sure how both Amazon & Eibach Federn can be the seller, but regardless of anything else the text in the tech decription is highly suspect.

That is not the name of the vendor but the name of the brand. See the screenshot below, check the red circle I have put on the right side of the image that is where it tells you who the seller is and who dispatches the goods. In this case it says sold and dispatched by Amazon. I agree the description title etc is all garbled rubbish but Amazon systems sometimes automates these when no clear description or title in inputted by the user, they do this so that there is something for buyers to see rather than a blank page. That policy doesn't make sense to me but it is what it is.
