Ive got a set of eibach pro springs for an e86. Bought off a forum member who had them on their car from new for 18 months. After A long drive to belgium a few weekends ago and another long one home im happy with the sport setup and cant really justify the cost of fitting over xmas. Selling for £80. On sunday il be driving from south wales to cambridge so if anyone sort of on the way wants them i can drop them off. After that il be around cambridge/bury st edmunds.

its a shame these wont fit my 2.0 as i could easily drive to bury as its not far from me and Im after some new springs :(

Bargain! They look almost new.

Well worth it for these. Have them on mine and i'm very happy with them.

Might be worth putting in the title that these are for the coupe - won't fit roadster.

What's the difference between the roadie & the coupe? I can't believe they designed different rear suspension for each model :o
Regards

Rear axle weight.

So they will fit, they are just a different pound rating?
I presume the coupe is heavier & has stiffer springs?
Regards

They do fit but they are a fair bit higher and have more coils. I didn't take a shot side by side but I would defo not get them for a roadster, handling is much improved now I've got the correct set on.

That is surprising, I would never have thought the difference in weight was enough?

Ive got a set of eibach pro springs for an e86. Bought off a forum member who had them on their car from new for 5 months.

Decided against them in the end then?

OP is here for reference. Note they were fitted for 18 months, not 5 as stated.

Could of sworn it was 5 haha. Decided against after the trips ive done and the advice from my garage.

What advice was that? I found the ride was less 'crashy' compared to OE springs and I've never heard of Eibach springs snapping.
