It's much for muchness really. Slighted harsher, but looks better...Depends where you draw the line i suppose.

Did you notice any handling difference? Admittedly it is slight I'd say but definitely there.

not really mate...Slightly stiffer...But thats about it. I did it for cosmetics not performance. It's my day to day runner afterall.

The ride doesnt get better with the springs just lower as Aliv6 says.
If you want better handling then you need to buy a set of coilovers (KW V3 certainly the best on the market)

Do you have either?

playalistic how happy are you with the springs now that u drove them a little more?
And to answer to your question no i dont have the Kw V3 but they are next on my list. BUT one of my best friends has the Z4M coupe with the Kw V3 and i drove his car three times on the Ring and it is simply miles different then the standard suspension.

No complaints here! It isn't a huge difference to be honest. Especially once you get over the placebo effect... I think you soon realise the damping isn't ideal on these cars, especially for our useless road surfaces over here in the UK. Who knows, I might go for Bilstein B6 shocks eventually. I think coilovers may be overkill for me since I don't really care much for track use (yet anyway!)

Be interested to hear from you once you have the KW coilys fitted

I've been looking into this, well Bilstein B6 or B8. But I can't seem to find much information from people who have fitted them on a Z4M. Sounds like it would be a happy medium between stock and coilovers, but not sure if this is the case in reality.

the most important thing is that the ride doesnt get worse then the oem fitment.

I've got KW V3's on my clio and i can honestly say they are fantastic! I've not seen a set of coils better made than these! I'd have no hesitation fitting them to the Z4...But it's overkill for what i need!
