Eibach Pro-Kit on Z4M?

or how about this for feasible... are New spring kits this lower setup??? food for thought.

Didn't stop for pics yesterday or this morning I'm afraid. Noticeably lower especially at the front where usually I could just skim the kerb on my drive, the chin now sits a good 1 or 2 cm lower than the kerb. Better be careful there.

I'm no pro driver but definitely rebound is faster over rough ground and the TC which would usually be lit up like an Xmas tree wasn't so busy. Definitely less squat under heavy breaking and acceleration. Can't say if it corners flatter as it was pretty damn flat to begin with. Absolutely no rubbing under full compression and lock.

I'll get some pics today at some point :)

The eibach site specifically says 30mm up front, anyhow im going tp order the nitron suspension kit next week and i can choose lowering heights so im going with 10mm rear and 15mm front :-)
That's strange? All these sites say 20mm front and 10mm rear for the Z4M pro-kit.

Beedub you're wrong on this occassion. I have them on mine.
If one follows the link Beedub provided, the little pop-up window on the Eibach website does in fact state 30mm lowering for the front, BUT if you download the actual Eibach catalogue in pdf, it states 20mm lowering for the front. (Go to the Eibach website then "Products", "Catalogue Download" and pick the top one "Applications 2010".
The information for the Z4M is on p59, fifth line from the bottom - search for the part number F11-20-010-04-VA. The rear is given as 10mm in both instances.

Playalistic, pics please?!

My kit is only arriving first week in March - it sucks when one lives on the "other" side of the world :headbang:

nice advice their re the ride height ect ect.... the nitron sport + kit (pillow ball camber plates included) uses eibach rear springs so will lower the rear of the car 10mm, but the front i can get nitron to custom make the length for me, so im going 15mm front and 10mm Rear, inline with what your saying about possible grazing, this should be perfect. Im going to go with the turner adjustable rear camber arms for ultimate adjustability.

pics please at your new ride height!!! just snap one with your iphone and upload via tapatalk... its the easiest way, if you could get some up close shots of the arch gaps, i would really appreciate it!

The pic below in my sig is before I had the springs, for comparison.

looks perfect.... thats how bmw should have made them leave the factory, and you've got the added bonus of no more broken rear springs.

Beedub why arent you going with the H&R Monotube? mine are ordered :-)

Because nitron are comparable with the likes of moton and ohlins, H & R cant compete with nitron, but then again its a different price point, the nitrons are quite abit more expensive but i believe it will pay off, im a firm believer..... do it once.... do it right.....the nitrons are completely serviceable also, plus i love the idea of having suspension that will be more comfortable on the road yet full attack on the track!! nitron are also custom making me to the heights that i want as i hate slammed cars, it does nothing for handling, be sure to check how far the minium drop is on your H & Rs, from the reviews over on zpost they are completly unstreetable.....

i do look forward to hearing your review and seeing what you think please post pics once they arrive.

When you give it the full beans does the car feel more planted and secure, I feel like it's in charge more than me sometimes

I'd say it does, lower centre of gravity plus wider track with the CSLs. So not just down to the springs. They do squat less so it is flatter under acceleration but you still get that slight floaty feeling with the nose that all M owners should be familiar with

Interesting to hear your thoughts, I actually had a set of eibach springs but never fitted them and ended up selling on to Rags. My view was that the nose would be just too low around London and would pick up too many scrapes. I have to park on the road so it's pretty bad out there anyway (my poor csls) without worrying about another part of the front end as well...it definitely gives the car a better stance with the csls fitted though. Look forward to seeing/hearing the car at the meet!

It's much for muchness really. Slighted harsher, but looks better...Depends where you draw the line i suppose.

Did you notice any handling difference? Admittedly it is slight I'd say but definitely there.
