Eibach Pro-Kit on Z4M?

The Eibachs are stiffer than OEM. And you will have no issues fitting them to your car. Will they wear the shocks out quicker? - Probably, but they're not expensive to replace if needs be?! And thats also an excuse to upgrade the whole lot. Put it another way, i had a issue with the left shock in mine they replaced it under warranty and never batted an eyelid at the springs?!
So how many miles/km are you already running the Eibach springs on your original Z4M shocks without issues? By the way; your black M coupe looks great...!

Can't remember....I think, about 25k stock, then fitted springs and i've run them for 10k. All good. Cheers for comment.

Did thy want to do an alignment right after you have them fitted? If so thats a waste of money, as every spring needs to settle for at least 4 weeks minimum.
Good advice to keep in mind... When they do a new alignment, is this the factory set-up or do they change this to compensate for the lower then standard car.

Franzino if i can give u an advice is dont buy the springs and rather put the money on the side to buy u a genuine KW suspension V3.
Best quality and best product on the market without a doubt.

A few guys on the m-forum germany had springs and all complained about the ride getting worse and worse with springs and really unstable when under pression

That’s not good news! What was the brand of the springs? Almost everyone on the Z4 forum (and on Petrolheads forum) who has the Eibach springs on their Z4M seems very enthusiast about them. When talking about replacing only springs; then Eibach and H&R are most common used. Some owners had some complaints about H&R springs, that would make the ride worse.

I know KW makes good stuff. I had some coilovers on a previous car. The handling was great, but there was zero comfort. I don’t want to do any major changes on the suspension (for me personally, the brakes need more attention then the suspension). I like the feeling and handling of the standard Z4M suspension. Would be nice to see the car a little lower and also do something about “the rear breaking spring issue”. That’s why I was thinking a change with Eibach springs would be something to consider.

i read zroadster.com, the german forum for find informations;

i have before eibach springs on 3.0 roadster, the feeling is excellent, better with a wiechers front strut, and better than standart M springs.

the car have 79000kms, new shoks OEM, a Wieckers BAR front, OEM ATE discs with yellow R EBC pads!

Eibach and other decent coil springs are made with a process called heat induction and are thus the same or better

than OEM. (Crappy coils are produced with another, much cheaper process.)

The small drop in height ( 1cm rear & 2cm front ) is well within the specs of the standard shocks and will not increase

wear.

I had a z3 on Eibachs for 4 years / 70000kms - performed beautifully throughout.

Franzino - spot on about the rear spring breakage. For road use coilovers are overkill.

Can anybody confirm what the correct part number is for the Eibach Pro-kit for the Z4MC?
I looked on the Eibach website and it seems the part number is E10-20-010-04-22. This number is given for both the Z4MR and the Z4MC, and I always thought they had different springs/shocks?

You've definitely been bit bitten by the modding bug! Get some pics up of the latest (and where's the gruppe m video eh?!) changes and let us know what else you've got planned!

Thanks for the conformation - have ordered mine as well!
Am paying ZAR3600 for the kit, fitment and wheel alignment, incl VAT. (That works out as 309.00 Sterling / Euro 364.00 at today's exchange rate)

Had mine fitted yesterday. Didn't get geo done as I'm going to book one in with wheels in motion instead, rather than using the local lot who I wasn't totally happy with last time. Only drove home from the indie and in traffic too, so initial reports will have to wait

playalistic, what the lowering all round please??
are you getting rub anywhere on full lock or full compression??

more importantly pics pics pics please!!

eibach says this will lower the car 30mm up front and 10mm @ the rear...... can anyone confirm as their seems to be some conflicting info.

playalistic, nice. Like Beedub, looking forward to the pics... it's not sunny, but it's not raining at the moment :poke:

Out of interest, which indi did you use and the last lot that did the geo? If you think it may have been an off day and don't want to name just DM.

Eibach pro-kit springs will drop the car 20mm (0,8”) in front and 10mm (0,4”) at the rear.

That's strange? All these sites say 20mm front and 10mm rear for the Z4M pro-kit.
