Edit - Just a quick bump to say that the Price on the MV2s has been dropped and the eibachs are sold pending collection

I hope this advert is OK... I have some items which I have bought to use, but I am now at a point where I won't use them for a while, and I'm now wondering whether other options might not be better for me in the long term anyway. My prices reflect that I am in no hurry to sell and reflect the prices paid. If they are available on some mega offer elsewhere right now then go elsewhere and buy them from an online retailer! If the prices are comparable or cheaper than current new prices - or if you simply can't wait and want to collect today - then buy mine!

I am NOT likely to post unless you are a long term poster and are willing to pay postage on top, but even then I really want hassle free - come to Guildford or meet me at some sort of a car meet not a million miles away!

All items purchased for an E86 and presumed fine for E85. Other compatibility... please do your own research!

Bilstein B4 - rear dampers – Brand new, box never even been opened - £135
Article number: 19-158983
BNE-F898 x2

Eibach Lowering springs – Brand new - £170 SOLD PENDING COLLECTION
E10-20-010-05-22 - lowers by 30mm up front and 20mm rear. Lowering is compared to SE level not M-Sport Level. Lowers 15mm front and 5mm rear comapred to M-Sport, I believe.

Style 135 – MV2 Wheels - Set of 4 - 18" - Newly Refurbished by Primo Alloys in Woking in Felgin Silver. Literally alloy wheels, no badges, valves, never seen a tyre let alone been fitted to a car. Currently boxed in my garage for protection. I am not sure I can be bothered to photograph them - they have been refurbished to a very good standard I believe (can anyone else verify how good Primo are?) and if you have any doubts then best to look in person. Was £650. Now £550

Hello. Are these e85 or e89? Ta.

All items were purchased for use on an E86, and are presumed to be as suitable for an E85. I have no idea if any of it is also suitable for an E89.

Advert updated.

See you later Pedro!

I have dropped the price on the MV2s and I'm pretty much decided that I am definitely going to sell them... offers considered... I bought them thinking that they were a great, uncontroversial option to have over winter or maybe even all year round... but the longer they sit there the more I realize that there are so many options I prefer, whether those options are Z4 Specific, other BMW or even custom.

If anyone is interested and wants photos let me know... but the are newly refurbed felgin silver

Pictures will always help you, tempt people and also hopefully prove ownership. Pictures tell a thousand words. Go for it.

You are, of course, right. In my defence I'd need to move one set of wheels, get out and de-box the MV2s behind, then find somewhere to photograph them, which would mean either moving them one and a half stories up to my living room, or moving two cars and taking photos of them on rough old dust sheets on my very steep drive.

But yeah, it needs doing now I have decided they definitely need to go.

Just get it done to get them sold.
The only other advice I have is lay them flat when photographing otherwise they may roll down your drive.😊

Not being funny, but if I did not lay them flat I'd be wondering whether they'd smash into the car opposite, or one opposite but down the hill a bit, or whether they'd make it the 50 odd yards down to the main road and take out a passing car. It's steep enough that I have slipped on it and landed on my arse more than once simply because it's a bit damp.

Thanks

It’s a good test of the legendary (not) Z4 handbrake efficiency

(I know Fred chocks his wheels to stop his car entering the living room opposite!)

When I was driving around in a basic, crappy Mitsubishi I never considered chocks, let alone used them!
