Egr valve

Hi everyone, could be a stupid question
I’ve got a 2.5i n52 engine, does it have an egr valve? If so where is it located on the engine?
Car had a fubarred ccv when I got it, and thinking if I do have an egr, could be blocked.
I have a stutter when pulling away, worth a try

Thought an EGR valve was mainly for diesel-powered vehicles?

So did I, but seen them definitely mentioned on the 3.0 petrols

Maybe it can’t get the words out properly when accelerating?

When you pull away it starts to accelerate then loses all power momentarily, then goes again. It almost feels like traction control kicking in, but it’s not.
Had wondered about vanos solenoids, pulled them out and they looked ok, operated fine with 12v put through them.
Had considered coils too

Just today received a recall letter for my diesel F13 coupe to be checked for faulty EGR :x

Unplug the MAF, see if it still does it.
