Jonny do you want me to do some digging around and ask a few guys about the 2.0l. And what you could expect from it? If your just after a few more horses and not the M killer anymore?! I am sure you could keep the same lump?
Johnny, IMO that front bumper is awful, it looks like a generic aftermarket kit that you can buy for any car, it doesn't follow any of the cars lines. I understand you want your car to be unique bit your aero bumper is miles better (again IMO).
Aero's aren't exactly common, you see a few on here but I can count on one hand the number I have seen in real life.

Johnny it maybe worth speaking to your friends at MStyle and ask them to reach out to their manufacture contacts and see if they will develop some tuning products for the 2.0L. They will do this as a project on your car along with huge discount, or maybe free. They also cover for any damages too.
I've said before, look at the Lotus world and their 2.0L, wow the noise, wow the power too.
Might be on to something boosting a 2.0. You will be able to make it quick, but not as quick as boosting a 6 pot. Depends heat you want from your car, do you value being quicker in a straight line than an M over keeping your original engine, and whilst having a quick car, maybe not the quickest on the block?
