Edinburgh Festival

It never seems to get a mention on here ...... but the Edinburgh Festival has kicked off .......

For a few weeks a year, Edinburgh becomes a full on good times party town ..... its worth a visit.
My scottish bride turned me onto it a few years ago - now we full on "Fringe" every year.

Getting a hotel is a bit difficult though .... just had to pay 450 quid for 2 nights for my daughter and her friend in a 3 star job .... but teh it is right down town.

Yeah the fringe is awesome, I'm going for 1.5 days too, will be great to catch up with my theatre friends, who are putting me up cheaply and for some flyering.
Last time I was there I managed three shows so it will be different this time.
What are you planning on seeing? I wish I could stay for longer..
