Eden - Channel 4

Been away for a week but came home to find this had finally started - watched the first two episodes - i quite like it! I'd read reviews complaining it was 'too easy' and like big brother meets love island .. but i really don't see that. Also i don't *think* the selection was made purely to generate friction amongst the group - there seem to be some pretty skilled and experienced people there, rather than a bunch of nutjobs who are inevitably going to rub each other the wrong way.

Thoughts?

I have to say i'd LOVE to take part in something like this, though i'd not want to do it whilst in a relationship (if going to be apart) - a year apart would be tough, and possibly not worth the risk.

EDIT: I thought i recognised the area - it's actually very close to the Ardnamurchan distillery i once visited with the Z4 :D An incredible place.
 
Stopping it now. Its the same but not as good as castaway that unleashed the bell Foggle on us! I have been hooked on Alone which if you have not seen is excellent.
 
I've watched it but fear they will all end up annoying the living day lights out of me , eg , what does a life coach do exactly and how would I benefit from her coaching when I've seen life for twice as long as her :lol: and probably achieved a thousand times more .
Army boy and a couple of others vying for roll of alpha male , odd ball not wanting to live with the others , there's only a couple of them had what I would consider a real job .
Most are probably fantasists , surely it's easier just to be a hippy or just become homeless :lol:
Just my opinions by the way .
Alone is far better viewing as are most of the Alaskan programmes , ie nearly every other programme on discovery these days .
