Eddie Kidd's "wife" jailed

Nasty woman got jailed for 5 months for physically and mentally abusing him and she's appealing against her sentence.I think two years should have been the sentence :headbang:
 
I see they sentenced that lunatic from Ohio that kidnapped raped and tortured several women holding them hostage until they escaped, to life without parole plus 1000 years.

What's the 1000 years part all about, do they keep his body once he's gone as an example to others? Seems like gratuitous showboating by the court. Can someone from the US explain?

I have not followed the case but I suspect he was found guilty on a larger number of various charges. Each of those charges will carry a minimum and maximum number of years in prison. When added together it possible to get to a very high number which it sound like it did. The media likes to add those number up and report them when in fact it simply means life without parole.
 
It was just the description of life without parole (wholeheartedly supportive) plus 1000 years (confused)

Ho hum, he'll never be out and will probably end up being some ape's toy
