ECU loose cables.

Just been looking for the cause of the abs/dsc lights coming on and came across these 2 loose cables in the ECU box, probably nothing to do with abs/dsc but curious if anybody knows what they're for?

I dont think thats standard.
This is a picture of my ecu box with the same grommet (bottom of the picture) that hasnt got 2 seperate leads:



Its hard to see in your pic if someone splitted out the 2 wires from the original loom or that its 2 extra wires fitted into the loom.

...or its a rhd thing. (my car is lhd)

Lol no, actually that was a pocket flashlight I came across from a previous (german) tech that forgot it there a long time ago (it was still a flashlight with normal glowbulb in it ). So I wasnt the first one in there rooting around :wink:



Maybe he was there to clip off those 2 loose wires :lol:
