Had a spirited drive today keeping up with a DB9 V12,355,Carrera 4 :D after that the light came on on the dash. :(

I drove 65miles home and the engine was great can't see ive done any damage.

Im thinking lambda? off course i will book the car in but just thought what the forum thinks it could be.

Im on my 2nd tank of v power if that helps.

i'd put it down to wear and tear.. O2 sensor failure is pretty common.. cant see how using Vpower or not would make a difference.

Took the car to BMW today as agreed 800 miles and 2 weeks after the light came on.

I had the light removed by my local garage after it came on and he told me what the fault was.

BMW told me they can't replace the part (AUC) as i have removed the fault but if the light does come back on bring the car back.

I assumed that answer. There is a tyre garage next door so i had a wheel balanced and when i started the car i could'nt beleive it the orange light came back on :D what about that for a coincidence. :!:

Popped it back and manager just said bring in back tomorrow i will order the part.

Result
