We (Sussex coast) had a OK view about 09:30 ish but was very cloudy!
Was more exciting in 1999 then I was down Cornwall on a fast craft refurb @ Falmouth dry docks slightly hungover

A shot from Edinburgh at around 9:35. I honestly don't know what people were thinking it was going to be. I heard people saying we won't see it again, it's not for another 80 years.....that'll be the next full solar eclipse, the next partial is 2026, 11 years away. Mike expected it to go pitch dark and one lad at work thought it was go really bright and then dark, I'm not sure if he was expecting a nuclear fall out of some kind.

Probably as it's just something different to all the depressing stuff on the news, if it doesn't invade, murder, blow up, cost the economy, pollute etc etc it's a winner... :roll:

Yeah was pretty good from where I was too, which is just round the corner from you!

It definitely got darker in Edinburgh. At whilst it wasn't a full eclipse, it was pretty impressive
