eBay Royals M wheel

Just wondering if this would fit in my 3.0si auto?, are all the wheels the same or are the wheels for the auto paddles different in some way? how do the paddles attach to the wheel?
Someone else was doing the same thing because they found a super rare BMW Individual wheel. Can all be changed over... not sure if it’s 100% straight forward or if you have to drill some holes for the paddle shift. I have to do the same for mine as I’m changing my wheel. I guess I’ll have to do a how-to!

It would be cheaper to get Royal to part ex your wheel and do it just how you like it...

imho That assumes you have a M wheel to swap? M wheels are around the £200 price mark anyway?
If you had a standard plastic or leather ‘thin and skinny’ wheel then fair enough. But when you’re talking M wheels... think this is a pretty good opportunity for someone.
