Morning,

does anyone have a sound lip, or link to one, for the fabled 3.0 stainless steel ‘EBay Exhaust’ for the E85 3.0 (non-Si)

Tried searching the forum, without success :headbang:

Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure there was a big long thread about these things but if if remember correctly noone ever got round to posting a video I'm afraid

Mmmm... I think you’re right.

I’ve found photo’s of what it looks like installed... but that’s about it.

This is the thread you need....

Video clips start on page two. The first clip is a fair representation I'd say and I don't think my phone would capture the sound any better. I can try if you like though.
I've had one on for maybe six months and I love it. A much deeper, louder sound. I daily mine and it is a bit intrusive on longer motorway journeys but I don't do too many of those.
It does sit a little lower but mine is on eibach springs and still clears speed bumps okay.

Once I got the old exhaust studs drilled out it was a really easy fit. I recommend a few good cobolt drill bits!

Your welcome to come out for a spin in mine if you're anywhere near Dursley. :driving:

Not sure why you would bother , I paid I think an extra £50 on top of that for a full custom job done with I imagine a higher grade of stainless . Fully fitted and with lifetime warranty.

That way you can spec or describe what kind of noise you would like whether that’s deep or raspy and it can be built to your liking .
