Ebay again

Yes ebay seems to be heading down the gutter. One pays and the seller makes a runner.

On the other hand here you pay the money and some decent folk just do what they promise.

Well have sold the phone for the second time this evening and the winning bidder has messaged to say they bid by mistake FFS :headbang:

What is wrong with people how do you bid by mistake?

Tim.

Jeezo - you are going to have a hot line to Ebay's complaints soon. That is more than bad luck, the time wasting swines.

At least I got my fees back today from the first listing which was 20 quid, couldn't believe second time around, noticed they seem to be foreighners in the UK going by their names, not that should make any difference. I've tried a second chance offer so will see.

Now retired I found a lot of old electronic items I no longer used, things I had taken to sea in the past, Sony short wave radio (working on MV but not on SW or FM), Sony walkman professional (not fully working), Philips portable digital tape player (not working), stereo radio, tape, turntable unit, JVC portable 6" colour TV (not able to use as a TV since all digital now but ok as a small monitor) and a citizen chronometer. I was just seeing if they would go as all top of the range stuff in their day, oldest item bought in 1983, all sold ok some for much more than I thought and everyone who won payed up and all gave good feedback. Maybe the people interested in the old stuff are more trustworthy than the youngsters interested in the latest phone?
