I didn’t read the bit about the hardware being extra.

So, they went for £1180 in the end. Not the bargain of the century but I’m sure somebody will be very happy.

The items I quoted in my original post

Namely:

• Side mounts (different for the PP FIA and PP ABE) - £110 per seat
• Sliders/runners (if you want to be able to move them forwards & backwards) - £70 per seat
• Floor mounts (unless you want to bolt them directly to the floor) - £175 per seat
• Seatbelt mounts (to retain 3-point belt and option for harnesses) - £110 per seat
• Passenger occupancy mat (or bypass) - £20 for bypass or £50 for occupancy mat

So more like £900 all in.

So if you take off the £220 for the sidemounts already fitted to the ones in the eBay listing, then £700 on top of the auction price.

Do these seats lower the height of the seat compared to OEM...? I've always felt the standard ones are just 2 inches too high at the lowest setting for my liking.

Once you add in all extra height of the floor mounts, sidemounts, runners, etc. it’s probably not far off the original height.

If you can manage with a non-adjustable seat, bolted directly to the floor, then you’d probably gain an extra inch.
