Easy way to tell if car has xenon lights

You can also (with no traffic in opposite direction) flash on your high beams, then turn on the high beams, if they are the same yellowish color you dont have xenons. My xenons dont have washers

Different countries have different headlight setups as well. In the US there is no leveling switch - halogen or xenon (but the xenon version does have the auto levelers). Also in the US the only way to get the M is with xenons :) -- and washers. :x

Mine is the same as sp3ctre's. Think it's true that the xenon's don't have the internal levelling switches... but i may be wrong of course....

Sp3ctre and gannet - you have to be careful not to confuse apples and pears (or is that halogen and Xenon) All models have headlights that use internal motors to set the level when switching on the lights only Xenons have a full suspension linked system to detect movement in the car and adjust the beam to prevent dazzle. Washers can be specified as and option so are not a good indicator.

Headlamp washers are a requirement with Xenon lights in the UK as far as I am aware

Same in the UK -- M comes with Xenons and washers. On the one hand, I'm happy because they're standard. On the other hand, somewhere in the price I've paid for them...

I believe this is what you're looking for under your hood to indicate whether or not you have xenons: this is a photo taken last night of my Z. It's usually located on the lower right-hand corner of the engine department (as you're facing the front of the car, or, left-hand driving side)

I have the same sticker on mine,

Def one of the most humorous warning stickers Ive seen,

TBH as soon as you turn on the lights it will be clear if they're xenons. The difference between them and even the 'blue' halogens is clear.

I have the same stupid washers and they drive me bonkers. Can someone tell me where the fuse is so I can take it out?

I just turn the lights off when spraying the windscreen, that way the bumper washers don't come on ...
