+1

around £200 for clear stripes and another £60 for LED angels

Or you could buy brand new halogen clear headlights from BMW for £730

You own blood sweat and tears by the looks of it, and someone to help you if your lucky! Im doin the de-ginge and AE eyes project now....cost bout £300 i reacon

do you have xenons as standard or does it not matter for the angel eyes? pics would be good as this is something i would like to do.

im guessing you just wire the eyes into the side light feed so they come on with the sides or do they simply replace the side lights?

i really like them and see it as a a BMW design classic, like the big C pillar and the nose grill.

Did it myself. Sourced the lights from a forum member and spent a day slicing open my Xenons with a Dremel, switching over the amber hockey sticks for clears, then re sealing.

I used mirror tint film to cover the amber domes which are used for the indicators. It means I have no amber showing at all (facelift lights still show some amber).

I was going to fit angel eyes, but damaged one :(

In regards to this thread. Im in the process of re-ordering the same lights I had on the car before the theft. If the supplier has a few more i'll share the details with you.

They're £329 and are RHD halos with black outers. Worked great for the short time I had mine.
