Plastic primer, a good few coats of High build to cover the print lines, then some paint and lacquer.

I sanded the back down slightly to give it a more flush fit on the boot.

Do you think I would get away with using black plastidip (acting as primer) and touch up paint to do these?

Only reason for asking is that is what I have at present

I tried with touch up paint to begin with, but the finished wasn't very smooth at all, so I poured some into my air brush and used that.

If you give us your vehicle reg, or the VIN number I can tell you.

And enter the last 7 digits of your vin (This is your BMW Serial #) ... Normally 2 letters followed by 5 numbers. Eg: AB12345

I was away in Germany for a few days..I’d imagine they actually turned up here Monday.

Arrived, lots of spares thanks. Painted and fitted today and they were still there when I got home which is great. Noticed when fitting my boot lock seems to have slipped down ever so slightly though which I will have a look into but not sure how easy getting to the rear of it will be! Will clean and post pics ASAP.

Looks awesome! Very nice photo. Now that I've seen this done on a few it really makes a big difference!
