easy HID fitment kit?

Yeah - I misread the way it was worded. In reality best is HID on low and high.

OEM xenon does both low and high of course with one beam, using a shield that raises up and as the beam is inverted by the lens cuts off light to the top right.

Strangely and probably as I live in a rural area see no need for dipped HID and benefit most with great high beam performance.

What about fuses being upgraded? i fitted a 35w hid on my e36 and upgraded to a 20amp fuse,
would this not be the case again bearing in mind theres 3 fuses for the lighting system?

Leon, dragging up an old thread.

did you do this conversion? i found these on ebay. my bro has them fitted to a supra and caldina and they look great.

I think any H7 kit fits any car designed to take a H7 bulb, but a non-Z4 specific kit might run into problems with triggering the bulb out on the dashboard. Specific kits usually come with some sort of device that fools the car ecu into thinking a normal halogen bulb (which draws more current) is still present.

I can't view the above link so can't comment (work firewall!)
