Some of you may know I'm involved with the IAM in some ways. I'm a member of the local group East Surrey, we periodically run Better Driving Courses which are open to anyone. Our next course is coming up in May details and how to register are here
Well I'm on the committee for the group so should be able to We normally try and run two a year - depends on our friendly retired Police class 1 tutor
The better driving course itself is classroom based so whether he has the new car by then will largely be irrelevant. The practical side is optional but can also be done in any car he has access to.
If he wants to do the IAM skill for life course I can point you in the right direction to use our group, and again it won't matter if he starts in a current car and changes halfway though etc?
