A fresh take on one of the more commonly visited Z4 areas.
Starting at Dobbies Garden Centre near the Edinburgh Bypass, this route goes through East Lothian, along the coast before zig-zagging around the Lammermuir Hills and then across the Northern part of the Scottish Borders before turning back to Edinburgh via the picturesque B709 valley from Innerleithen.
Lunch will be either at the Jim Clark cafe in Duns or at Abbotsford, home of Walter Scott, depending on timings and logistics.
Open to a maximum of 12 cars, starting around 09:00 am and about 200 miles of driving.
Given peak holiday season we are expecting a steady potter in the more popular locations with some opportunties for open roads on the less popular locations.
RSVP based on a first come, first served basis.
