Early to put into storage ?

Tax it the full year - although you end up paying the bigger lump sum for year initially, it actually works out the cheapest, as you get your full months back when you subsequently sorn it.
That's what I do.

I don't get this - I run mine all year round including in the snow (its not the best in snow to be honest!!).

Depends on how many cars you have, I have a few, so choose not to run the Z through the salt and sh1t road conditions that winter brings

Your roads get salted?!! :o I cant remember the last time i saw a salt spreader in the Loughborough/Leicester area. Last winter we had a hard frost with very icy conditions (one night only i think) trying to get to Leicester early in the morning was a bit scary to say the least. There were collisions a plenty in Leicester (not me though)

Almost every bloody evening for a good month or so, you got to know the sound of the truck as it past the house.
Our village is quite high in the Chilterns, so we do suffer more.

Theyre out regularly around here tbf once it approaches freezing point. it may have been milder for you southern softies in recent years but up in the Clwydian range of North Wales temperatures drop rapidly from November onwards :D

Direct debit to tax monthly seems a good idea I used to take my old Z3 off the road for 6 months over winter but did not think about taxing it monthly. As the Z4 seems more usable I’ll do that. Still don’t go out in the rain though, no chance!!

Think mine was SORN from Nov 1st last year until March 1st. Usually I have 3 months tucked away , but wasnt getting used , so saved a few quid. Too early for me anyway, as have Revival coming up and if the weathers good enough, will be in the Zed :driving: . Just tempted fate there :?
