Eagle F1's

Nictrix

Elite
 Paisley
Been looking to order a set of these this week but have came across 2 different kinds, or I think they are different.
One of the sets I have looked at are £30 a set more expensive but says they have rim protection (mfs)
Are these different to the normal ones or is the tyre site just adding that they have rim protection?
Anybody know?
I have been looking around for answers but unable to find any info.

Not sure, but this is a link taken from a recent thread who were advertising good priced Eagles and from the image they look to have the lip which offers rim protection your after, and the price ain't bad. http://lovetyres.com/tyre/Goodyear-Eagle-F1-Asymmetric-2/255-35-18

I believe other members have recently purchased tyres from them

Yep similar price to Tyreleader although Tyreleader are £6 cheaper for the set.
I think it is Mytyres who have rim protection in the title but are around £30 more expensive

My GoodYears have rim protection - bought last year from Black Circles - I guess the price difference is simply due to the asking price rather than a different type of GY F1.

I've found them good tyres so far - recommended by Swiftly on the Forum and for the money I'm very happy with them.

Someone recently managed to pick up a set of F1s for less than 450 quid, fitted. Worth shopping around!

I am also running the F1s on mine after switching from the Bridgestones RFTs. Well worth it - good tyres

They will end up less than £450 once fitted as they are coming in at just under £400 delivered

Hi, I posted my quest for f1s in the wrong area, I am coming up at £480..could I ask where are they cheaper?? :D

I am getting them from Tyreleader. They are in Germany but get good reviews and seem to be a good company.
The rears turned up yesterday and I reckon the fronts will arrive on Monday. For whatever reason they get sent as 2 parcels, maybe different warehouses or something.
They were £393 delivered.
