So I was playing around on PS and thought - "I wonder what E90 M3 (18") wheels would look like on a Z

So this is my creation
Z4E90M3Wheels_zpsd1724843.jpg

In reality I'm unsure if they would fit as the offsets are quite aggressive but would be worth a try

Cheers,
Dan

hmmmmmm

the real deal look even better, offsets are mega aggressive on the o.e wheel sadly..........

They do look even better in the real deal!
I just want something a bit different but keeping OEM and 18" and in my head these come up.
You wouldn't happen to have more pics at all?

Cheers.

your wish..... sadly my pics don't really show the concave of the rear which looks perfect in the flesh.... apart from this first one

semi slicks on at this point

Note these are the euro version with the thinner spokes, took me ages to find a good set of these, very hard to get hold of....... basically no-one really ordered their m3s with these as most went for the bling 19" rim...

To say they loom awesome is an understatement!! Look mega!!
Are they the normal offsets something like et23 or something ridiculous?

Cheers

yes ET 23 9.5 "rear ( this works quite well but is the limit of what it can swallow, and et 29 8.5 "front the front needs a good -2.6+ negative camber to get it in under the fender, luckily my car is left in track mode and sits at -3 neg camber so clearance is easy, the front is very aggressive fitment . They do however look incredible in the flesh.... you'd need a rep to fit to a non ///M and on and ///M with stock geo/suspension they'd damage the bodywork at the front very quickly.

Those look great! one of my favourite style of OE wheel. 8)

agree lovely looking wheel, I'm trying to source another rear and front wheel to keep and stock up..... a few sets i have seen have been buckled and 2 have had sneaky cracks on the inner spokes.

Thats what I was afraid of.. There's something in my head that's wrong with buying replica wheels, I know quite a few people that run them with no issues but it's not really knowing the reputation of what you're buying.
Will have to keep an eye out for any that have good reviews before spending the cash.
Shame as the OEM ones are stunning on a Z4 and to get that match with a replica is going to be hard.

Cheers for the pics Beedub.. I now envy you for having those wheels  oh and having an M.. Although my Z4C is the best compromise when you're travelling around 350-400 miles a week!

Cheers.

no probs dan, i love them tbh..... and i feel exactly the same about REPs, id never use one on this vehicle. EVER. Too much of an unknown imo.
