Good point missed it off sorry.

Car has full service history and is located in Rugeley Staffordshire (the midlands)

I’ve updated the add

I am guilty of breaking my cardinal rule of not commenting negatively on a for sale post here and this is only meant to help as I wish you luck with your sale OP, it's a lovely looking car, but.............

....at that price I think it may be your wife's P&J for a while yet. 4 owners in 6 years is going to be a potential problem aswell at the price point TBH

B21 is correct, it doesn't have parking parking sensors, either.

Thanks for your comments.

I’ve priced it against similar cars listed on Autotrader and well below others that are offered by dealers (with it being a private sale) most of which are higher mileage and not as nice looking in my opinion (perhaps not yours !)

Motorway have valued it at £17,700 and a dealer has offered me £18,000 today.

It has rear parking sensors as it says in my description

But hay ho if it’s not the car for you we’ll just move on eh :)

Very nice looking Zed but you should post some recent pictures instead of the 2 year old ones from when you bought it, are the parking sensor aftermarket? as I thought they came with front and rear. Good luck with the sale

Given how unlikely it is any prospective buyer is going to roll up and give you the full asking price, I'd be biting the dealer's hand off at £18K

+1 I was going to post this too £18k is a very strong offer. I’d be taking and walking away. They must have a punter lined up at as strong a bid as that. The £17.7K isn’t too bad either imo

Age & low mileage means a dealer will probably sell this somewhere between £20k & £22k.
I'd be grabbing the £18k asap.

18k is a strong bid, take it now, its coming towards the end of summer and it will stop all the time wasters, you could wait months to take an extra £400.

Grab the £18K before its to late. Hassle free and realistically not a lot less than you are hoping to achieve on a private sale by the time you and a prospective purchaser haggle on your asking price.

You’re not going to get a greater consensus of opinion…. The £18k would have been in my bank account by now and I wouldn’t have bothered putting this listing up…Sell, Sell, Sell…

Thanks for all you comments guys.

Car sold today 4 days after advertising for FULL ASKING PRICE. Private sale first person to view.

Just goes to show, If the car is right and the price is right it will sell

I'm not surprised tbh. In all the years I've been on car and bike forums and have seen threads exactly like this with the same advice given, the vehicle for sale ALWAYS sells for the full asking price.

That’s the key statement right there mate. I paid £19K for the car 2 years ago. Only done 10k miles since then and I’ve got back what I paid for it. As previously stated I was offered £17,700 from motorway and £18K from a dealer. Genuine good clean straight cars are going for a premium at the moment. Especially something as nice as the Z4. :)
