I'm still glad i didn't buy an SLK but due to BMW's recent efforts to devalue their product and ruin re-sale values i really wish i'd bought a Boxster despite it having a "tent" perched on top.

I had a drive in in today , and it's amazing how different both of them are, even down to the way the seats feel

SLK makes a nice noise though

SLK is a girls car....always has been. Unless maybe if it's a SLK55

The Z has the long front end, and a menace to it, which the SLK can't compete with

Looking good , the slk55 amg is brutal! and not bad money now circ 15-17k would not mind one on the drive, but a stock one is more feminine than the Zed for sure

I just can't get my eyes round the look of the SLK, and the interior seems a lot 'harder'... That said, the noise of an AMG engine is a truly wonderful thing...

One thing I like about the slk is the air scarf, little vents on seat near neck that blows hot air out

Actually, good point - saw one with the roof down on the mway the other day when it was really chilly and felt a small pang of jealousy of his air scarf. Then I hunkered down and floored it - felt much better
