Hello pals, on my bmw z4 I noticed that the front lights are not perfectly the same. Its almost impossible to notice but upon closer inspection I could see that one of the front lights does not have exactly the same spacing (when compared to the other) between the cover of the light itself and the bonnet, I am talking about mm here but I can see it. Anybody seen this in theirs? The car has never been in an accident...

Hi Maniac, so its a common thing? As soon as I get my camera fixed, I will upload some photos on here although I don t think viewers will be able to see it because like I said, its very minimal but I saw it.

I wouldn't say its common no. Issues with rear lights are more common, but BMW build quality in general isn't quite at the 'great' level and so items that are fitted by hand, such as lights, can vary in their alignment, they just correct them with a beam test/adjustment rather than re-fitting the light housing.

People knock Rover and their cars, but the MGTF i had, the body panels had pin holes so that the panels could be aligned with a dowel.
