Cheers, I actually put a deposit on one exactly like yours but an Auto (46k miles on it for £10,000), AND THEN checked the history, and it came back as Cat N….. I don’t want a car that has any categories attached to it, so I asked for. My deposit back…. Nada…

Lesson learnt there !

You should report the ad to eBay TBH. It may not be against the law to not declare an insurance right-off (although I thought it was), it is against eBay rules.
The car is worth much less than £10k with a cat N (£6-7K at a push).

100% agree with Pondy here, it is against the law to advertise a car that has been written off without listing the Cat rating - see all the ads on A/T showing the ratings.

Secondly, did you pay the deposit via eBay / Paypal - then complain and get he money back, same if you used a credit card.

Also report the ad to eBay and they will remove it quickly
 
Provisionally sold to David (TaffDaddy) once i have retained the private plate and have the new v5c... hope you enjoy it pal.

Thats me with Z4s for a while chaps but I'll probably hang out here still for a while as its a forum i really enjoy.. going to stack some pennies over winter and potentially move into something with a V8 in by the time next summer rolls around :)

Im hoping to buy a Corvette.. however I'm not completely averse to sticking with 6 cylinders and trying a cayman s or hopping into a sl350 merc... all very different cars and I'll be trying test drives in all 3 but in my heart I'm already 99% in the Corvette, my head though says the sl may be more sensible and I've always had a soft spot for porkers.. Im taking my time over this next purchase which is unusual for me as I hate not having a toy on the drive but Im hoping a beautiful, well cared for red c6 Corvette comes along at great price over the next few months and finds its way onto my drive

Ill definitely be sticking around pal.. its one of the best forums I've ever been on and one of only 2 I still actually visit :D And who knows.. . I might still make it onto the 3 zeds or more thread eventually :rofl:
