Does anyone know where I can get hold of the workshop manuals for the E89? I had TIS and ETK for my E46 and found them really useful as they covered everything from basic servicing to engine replacement. I understand that BMW have now moved away from this and now use ISTA/P + ISTA/D, is this correct? I know I am one of the few E89 owners without a warranty, but I guess more and more will be joining me over the coming months, so it would be good to get hold of them just in case. It would also make modding them a little less stressful :)

as far as i know there are none available i would surf all the various zed/bmw forums for any how to do it help and use the realoem site as guide for parts

After weeks of searching,I have finally found out where they are. They form part of the ISID ISTA/D software package used by the dealerships. The other package is ISTA/P which provides the coding/reprogramming features. The E89 uses MOST so whilst you can carry out basic diagnostics via the OBD2 port, ALL coding must be done via the MOST port using an ICOM A+B connector. A 10A charger must also be connected throughout the coding process.
