E89 window switch unit

Does anyone know if these are a common part across a few different cars and not solely for the E89? I am looking for a replacement, and it would help if I could confidently widen my search, rather than looking for E89 party only.

The switch appears in a couple of other E series BMWs..but..there are also different variants depending on options..

See pic..best to look at realoem.com and get used to how to source parts

Nothing wrong with the Aliexpress one, I'm running one in mine, been in a while now and is perfect

Contact cleaner...does it have contacts? Might just be rubber bridge like key board or hall sensors.
Only time i had problem it was the connector being the door card, poor connection on negative pin.

Ive had a faulty switch before, it was water ingress, tried cleaning it but to no avail.

Yes stupid place to put switches just where water runs down if you operate wipers with window open.

Only issue, the one in the link looks to be the power folding mirrors version. My car does not have this feature. I have the 9216107. Or is it just a case of removing the button?

I suspect different firmware...certainly the case for the OE BMW one
