E89 Wind Deflector Removal

Can anybody advise me how to remove a factory fitted mesh wind deflector from a 2013 E89 LCI car. I want to remove it just over the winter so I can have better rear view visibility during the long dark mornings and evenings which will soon be upon us.

You push it downwards against spring pressure and press the top of it either to the front or the rear (can’t remember which!) before you pull the deflector upwards and out

Deflector safely removed....you were not kidding about dirty they get!!!!!
