E89 - Spotted!

Spotted a lovely E89 sitting idle in my garage

There‘s a nice Grey one in mine with a battery charger attached!

It must be catching! Only 10 days to go before it comes off SORN and will get its first run in a few months. As an over 70 I may have no where to go but who cares.

Followed a white E89 YK60 ??? With red leather all the way through the Blackwall tunnel, along the A12 and onto the A406. Roof down. Good lad. Unfortunately, I was in the other half’s Audi Q as I had to take equipment back to the office. She had my E89.
Coming back home, a black E89 (Roof up) was coming out of the tunnel as I went in.

Yes! This can only be a good thing though, surely?

I'm working out of Bridgwater at the moment because of this Covid cack, otherwise you'd see me all the time in mine going through Clevedon to HQ!

E89 top down space gray 3.0 beastly downshift and throttle on into corner 16 of state route 1 flashed a peace sign to the driver of a gray E86 possible 2.5 auto with the top up who appeared to be parked in the middle of the lane on the other side of the same corner :evil: ........ Sunday AM around 8 am.... oh, that was me in 3.0 cheers and drive safe when they let you

I would have been surprised if the E86 didn't have it's top up. :wink:

Oops!? I meant E85 with the top up on a sunny day. Probably not working

Saw a red E89, roof down, heading towards mutley off cattdown roundabout today. I was heading towards it, also roof down, only spotted at the last minute

Budgens Nailsea lunchtime today. Blue Z4 2 pumps over from me wasn't quick enough to get the reg, then Silver Z4 parked in front of me.

Spotted a lovely orange e89 in Broxbourne on the weekend, got a wave, but I was changing down gear at the time and couldn't reply before it was past...

As I have been driving my white 2009 around (Bath/Bristol area), I’ve always felt the need to wave out to fellow e89 drivers, but thought it was just me. Now I know there are more of us - I will definitely wave out. What is the general etiquette - a wave or a thumbs up?

Hate to tell you that most don’t bother to acknowledge - I tried when I first got a Z4 many years ago and just felt like a chump most of the time when a wave etc wasn’t returned!

White E89 Top down private plate coming down A68 into Jedburgh then took Oxnam road to private residence near Oxnam?

Spotted a red E89 on Sat 27/06 near Absolutely Karting in Maidenhead. He flashed and waved! Never got a response from an E89 before even stopped bothering with them, so needless to say was very surprised one acknowledged 2 E86s.

Busy day for Z’s today. Saw 2 fine examples on my drive home today.

1st one was a lovely dark grey e89 that followed me through Great Chesterford and Duxford.

2nd one a very clean white e89 was on the A45 between Stanwick and Thrapston. You flashed and waved. But I spotted you too late so sorry for not returning the wave. Was in a world of my own from my 2:30am start.
