That's certainly my understanding of it, but TBH I've not kept up to date with developments since the BMW initially (finally) admitted there was a security issue. Does the brake fluid change not coincide with engine oil an filter????
They are both at two year intervals.

I found out to my cost that the two year rule is from the date of manufacture and NOT date of first registration.![]()
