Just finished refurbishing this module. Like a lot of owners I have experienced the icons for the roof buttons fading and disintegrating into a 1,000 pieces.
Normally we hunt around for a secondhand unit or failing that buy a new one from BMW, that’s where I ended up six months ago.
I kept the old module though and found a company who reproduces the actual button covers, not the transfers as being sold on eBay (tried that with very limited success) and here we are.
Looks really good and all buttons work but the new button covers look “new” and ever so slightly more black than the surrounding buttons. To be honest having put it in the car to test you cannot tell the difference because of its location but I thought it was worth mentioning. Perhaps I’m being over picky.
Just want to recoup some of my costs so asking £75.00 inc postage in the UK.
