I got told it was either Msport with dealer contribution or Free sat nav since you couldnt use the offers in conjunction with each other?

Your dealer is trying to rip you off then. I did a deal with no deposit, MSport upgrade, dealer using the sat nav or "option" allowance as a £2225 discount which worked out in the end as a £34,100 list price specced car for £26,500.

IMHO the new 2.0l turbo is a lovely car to drive with enough oomph for the twisties. Forget about straight line as anyone can drive fast without any steering input :P

Haggle!!!!

Who cares what the reasons are for the insentives, it will always be cracking car end of... :driving:

Oh and let's be honest it is always gonna be rare....

Was that deal at North Oxford BMW?

If you can get those deals on the 2.0 4-pots imagine what you'll be able to get on the 35i and 35iS - no wonder the depreciation on them has been so heavy. Well on the 35i anyway. I guess there aren't that many 35iS's around.

The deals are for 4 years, and I reckon after that time it will be a case of handing the keys back as there will be no equity at all in the car. :(

If you have put down a deposit but not signed the paper work yet, do you think you will be eligible to get it back as a cooling off period?

Having a look of the cost of the overall deal, its a grand cheaper however I dunno!

For me I am getting

48 Months
No Depo,
£368pm
£1565 worth of Optional Extras
£359 Z4 Servicing
£449 GAP
Full Tank of Fuel
BMW Adidas Polo Shirt

Certainly tempting for existing E89 owners to trade in their 23i/30i models, but i bet they wouldnt be offered much on a px.

The current offer is supposed to be for a 20i only. Dunno if dealers have any flexibility.

We got a 2 year contract. Option Purchase price is just under £18,000.

If you want to keep the car, it might be better to take the free M-Sport instead of the additional deposit contribution. Payments or customer deposit are higher, but you don't pay VAT on the M-Sport upgrade.

Erm no, not for me. I know everyone talks about the 4 cylinder turbo engine being the way ahead, economical, less emissions etc. but I'm probably going to keep my 23i and enjoy the 6 cylinder engine before they become an even rarer site on the roads.

The last z 4 had face lift and engine upgrades in the 4th year so should be this year.

It was strange to put the other 4 pots out last maybe something else is about to drop.

Boxter is not in the same price as the Z4 and yes we all want one but practicality I have the z4.

Prices have dropped a bit compared to when the first z4 came out and similar time after its lauch to now you were looking at a 2.5 SE list 30K 2 years old 15K miles selling for 23K. When this model came out deals were 2.5sisport 6K miles 9 months 20K

Spoke with the dealer today about the new 'roof up/down while driving' topic.. its a week 10 addition so cant get it with current deal on 20i which is only for another week or two.

As for why the new engines now.. simple.. they need their overall CO2's down.. the facelift is just that.. tweaks, not a new chassis design. i think we'll see it later this year and if its a good uplift, ill be at the front of the queue...

The current 20i offer runs through the end of March. As in you have to take delivery by March 31. Last week of March is week 13.

Our car is scheduled for week 9 production with delivery on week 12. We are going to miss the week 10 changes by just a few days.

With luck, It might be possible to order a week 10 car and still get the offer price, but I wouldn't risk it.

Hi
Where have you seen that the Z4 finance offer has to be delivered by 31st March?
I have ordered a 20i and have been told week 11 production so based on your info above I am looking at end of March / beginning of April for delivery so would like to know if I need to clarify anything with the dealer.
Thanks

The deals I have seen are running until 31st March which usually means you have to have ordered by then, and it gets delivered whenever. If you've already ordered you'll be OK, it will all be signed off?
